Yesterday evening just after clearing the SOD fuel pumps, #RescueEngine33 was dispatched as the 1st due engine company to the 5600 block of 61st Place for a reported fire in a house. RE33 arrived to find a 2-story, semi-detached dwelling with smoke showing from the second floor. RE33 stretched the Kentland front bumper line and extinguished a fire located in a rear bedroom. The crew worked with Truck Co. 14 to open up and check for extension and returned to service approximately 2 hours later.
