Rescue Engine 33 responds as the Search Company
At 1701 hours yesterday evening, #RescueEngine33 was dispatched as the Search Company for a basement fire in the 400 block of Clovis Avenue in Capitol Heights. Initial company’s arrived to find smoke showing from a 2-story, Cape Cod style dwelling with a basement. Rescue Engine 33 arrived moments later and performed forcible entry to the basement and initial ventilation of the basement windows. The crew split into two teams and performed the primary search of all three floors and once that was complete RE33 was used for other various tasks as needed by Command.
