Just prior to 2230 hours last night, #RescueEngine33 was added to the Rescue Local in the 1200 block of Goldmine Court with Engine Co. 38 on scene of a vehicle on its side with an occupant pinned between the vehicle and the roadway. Rescue Engine 33 arrived and immediately began stabilizing the vehicle by utilizing Paratech struts to create a tieback on the dirty side (underside) of the vehicle. Once the vehicle was stabilized, the crew removed the roof to provide access to the patient. Rescue Engine 33 cleaned up and returned to service shortly after, with the time from arrival on scene to patient extrication under 10 minutes.
