Yesterday afternoon, #Engine331 and #Truck33 were dispatched to the 6700 block of Vanessa Drive for the report of an attic fire. Truck 33 arriving as the 2nd due truck, laddered the Charlie side of the structure and placed the stick to the roof. Engine 331 laid out, arriving as the 3rd due engine, and ran the 250’ “Stinger Line” into the structure. Both Truck 33 and Engine 331 operated on Division 2 to open up and put the fire out. E331 eventually made the attic level and put a bulk of the fire out. Company 33 remained on scene to overhaul and wet down the structure. The men from 33 remained on scene for approximately 2 hours.
