#Truck33 was filling in at Dunkirk Co.5 while the department was mourning the loss of and laying to rest Deputy Chief Raleigh Midkiff. Minutes after arriving to the station, Truck 33 was dispatched as the first due truck to 400 block of E Bay Front Rd in Anne Arundel county (Deale) for the Commercial building on Fire. Enroute units received multiple calls reporting a building on fire, first arriving units arrived on the scene to find a 1 story commercial building with smoke and fire showing with partial roof collapse. Truck 33 arrived Side A and positioned for ladder pipe operations. The crew went to work by assisting with making access points for extinguishment. Truck 33 also assisted with protecting exposures and other hazards. Once the fire was extinguished members assisted with an extensive overhaul. Units operated for approximately 3 hours before returning to service in Calvert county. : @sixtruckboss
