Kentland Founder Bob Baeschlin Laid to Rest.

In a small service in Pompano Beach, Florida, Past Chief & President of the KVFD was buried this morning after 99 years on this Earth. Several members made the drive on short notice, to make sure that a Kentland Wagon was present for the memorial. As Bob always said, “Always do whatever is necessary to get a fire truck, with firemen ready to do the job, to the fire” and today was no different, as our men ensured that KVFD was there to pay our respects and honor Bob’s legacy. A special thanks goes out to the West Palm Beach Fire Department, who’s gracious hospitality was a welcome relief after the long drive. Thank you, gentlemen, for helping us complete this honorable mission, you guys are a class act!
