Engine 331 Responds 3rd Due for the House Fire in Bladensburg

Just before 10pm Engine Company 33 was alerted to respond to the 5600 block of Randolph Street, for the reports of a house next door on fire, on box 09-15. Engine 331 responded with 5 volunteers as the 3rd Due Engine. First arriving Engine went on the scene with fire showing from a 1 story single family house. Knowing how tight the streets are in that area, the Officer of Engine 331 communicated with the driver that they would be going one street over to pick up their own hydrant. The crew from Engine 331 quickly deployed the 400′ 1.5′ attach line and ended up with perfect side c access. Units made entry to the basement where they found and extinguished fire in the ceiling while working with Truck 28.
