Tower 33 Goes to 99th Place For House Fire

Tower 33 was alerted as the 2nd due truck to the 6500 block of 99th Place for a house on fire. While en route, PSC advised units they were getting multiple calls for fire coming from a house, and dispatched the WFD at the direction of Battalion 1. The first arriving Engine Company (18) went on the scene with fire showing from a 1 story SFD. Moments later Tower 33 arrived, and the interior crew met up with the crew from Engine Co 30 on Side C, checked the basement for smoke and fire, and conducted a primary of the basement. While the interior team was performing their tasks, the exterior team placed 84′ of ground ladders on Sides C and D before going inside to join the interior team. Tower 33’s Driver controlled the power to the house in the basement while the rest of the crew preformed a searched of the fire floor. Tower 33 advised command there was a fire on the first floor, B quadrant, that the fire was knocked and they were checking the attic for extension, and all primary searches were negative.
