July 5 -After clearing an accident on the Outer Loop of 495 just before Landover Rd the “Beltway Boomerang” was dropped on the box as the Search Company to 6828 Parkwood Street in the Landover Hills neighborhood.  The Rescue Engine arrived third with fire showing from the Delta side of the one-story house.  The Volunteers quickly completed primary searches of Division 1 and the basement in hoarding conditions, and secured the utilities in the basement. With searches negative and the fire extinguished, the Rescue Engine returned to service.
