HOW YOU CAN HELP HONOR LIFE MEMBER, FIREFIGHTER, and STAFF SERGEANT CHRISTOPHER SLUTMAN

Kentland Volunteer Fire Department Life Member, Fire Department of the City of New York Firefighter, and United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Christopher Slutman embodied service above self. Protecting his fellow Americans at home, carrying freedom’s torch serving as a Marine, or being a dedicated and loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend – Chris was the portrait of an American hero and family man we all looked up to.

Now, it is our turn to support the ideals Chris stood for, and to honor his memory. We are asking for your support of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. A donation in Chris’s memory can be made here and the proceeds will not only go to Chris’s family, but to the countless other families impacted by their loved one’s ultimate sacrifice. The donations go to the families of fallen first responders, military service members, and Gold Star families.

True to Chris’s moral character, a donation will not only support his family but those he never knew. His life of service does not stop with his untimely passing and we hope that you’ll consider carrying on his legacy by contributing whatever you can.

Thank you to all of our family, friends, emergency services partners, and the public who have supported the Kentland family through this trying time – your support has sustained us.
