Engine Truck and Deputy Chief 33 Respond to Fatal House Fire

Just after 2200 hours Truck 33 and Chief 33A were alerted for a house on fire in the 4200 block of Monroe Street in Company 55’s first due. First Arriving units arrived on the scene to a 2-story single family dwelling and fire showing from the roof and started the Working Fire Dispatch. Engine 332 was alerted on the WFD and responded to the Street behind the address where they took their own hydrant and advanced the 400 foot line through a back yard and over a fence. The Engine company helped in extinguishing a fire on the second floor of the house. Truck Company 33 split into two teams, the exterior team placed 48 feet of ground ladders, while the interior team opened up for the Engine Companies and did a quick search. The Canman on Truck 33 assisted Truck Company 9 in the removal of 1 victim who later succumbed to their injuries.
