Engine Truck and Deputy Chief 33 Respond First Due to a Townhouse Fire in Largo

Station 33 was hosting a battalion drill, talking about a fire that occurred in PG County during 2004.The fire resulted in a close call mayday. Units From Engine Company 30 and 46 as well as Truck 38 and Squad 6 and Battalion Chief 1 were in attendance to view a PowerPoint and hands on session in the Engine bay. The parade of fire trucks left the Landover road station with Engine 332 leading the charge. Units from 33 arrived on the scene of a two-story middle of the row townhouse with smoking showing. Engine 332 ran the 250 pre-connect line to the top floor where they found an quickly extinguished a fire in a bed room. the Truck Company split into two teams. The Interior team opened up for the Engine Company and The Exterior team placed over 60 feet of ground ladders around the structure. Chief 33A had division 2. Command scaled the incident back to 33 for minor overhaul.
