House Fire at 5700 Block of Eagle Street

(0636 Hours) – Engine Company and Tower Ladder 33 responded to the 5700 block of Eagle Street (Capitol Heights, Maryland) for the house on fire, just before dawn. Units arrived with a single-story, detached, wood frame house and fire showing from all sides. Engine Company No. 33 (3rd due Engine Company), established a secondary water supply, advanced an attack line to cover the C-Charlie side, gave a size-up, checked for a basement and extinguished multiple rooms on fire. Tower Ladder 33 (1st due Truck Company) arrived, placed portable ground ladders, searched and opened-up the fire floor. All searches proved negative.
