Tower, Engine Work House Fire in 9600 Block of Annapolis Road

At approximately 1:30 hours, units from the 1st and 2nd Battalions were alerted to the 9600 blk of Annapolis Rd for a report of smoke in a house. First arriving companies found a two-story single family dwelling and fire showing. Tower 33 arrived on scene and assumed first due special service responsibilities. The crew of six volunteers split into two teams. As interior team opened up for the Engine companies, several ground ladders were placed by the exterior team.
The Engine from Co 33 was alerted on the working fire dispatch. Engine 331 arrived and secured their own hydrant. The Engine crew stretched an attack line to the basement. Fire was found in several rooms and extinguished. The fire was deemed under control at the 45 minute mark. Engine 331 packed up and returned to Kentland. Tower 33 remained on scene to assist with overhaul and investigations until 4:30.
