Busy 24 Hours for Kentland and Volunteers

The Kentland Volunteer Fire Department responds to a large number of working incidents (fires, extractions, etc.) on a weekly basis. The last 24-hours have been no exception for the members staffing Company No. 33:
Yesterday, just after 1200 hours, Engine and Squad Company (Rescue Engine) 33 responded to the working apartment fire in the 4200 block of 58th Avenue (Bladensburg, MD). Units arrived to find a small fire in a garden apartment building.
Just a few hours later, Squad Company (Rescue Engine) 33 responded to the motor vehicle accident in the 8400 block of Ardwick-Ardmore Road and found one-trapped. The crew removed the entire passenger side to free the patient.
This morning, prior to 0700 hours, Squad Company (Rescue Engine) 33 responded on the box alarm for a reported house fire in the 4000 block of Newton Street (Cottage City, MD) and found fire on the D-Delta side of a two-story, detached single family home with extension.
