Engine and Tower on the Working Fire Dispatch: 4304 Torque St

At 1531 hours the Engine and Tower from company 33 were alerted to respond on the working fire dispatch at 4304 Torque Ave. First arriving companies went on scene with smoke showing from the basement level of a 2 story cape style home. The working fire dispatch was sounded and engine 331 and tower ladder 33 responded with a total of 8 volunteers. Units from 33 arrived on scene to fire showing from the basement and obvious extension into the upper floors. At the request of command Tower Ladder 33 supplemented the RIT on side Alpha of the home. Engine 331 was directed to report to division 2 and provide and update. The engine crew stretched the 400′ and once making the second floor found fire involving the knee walls and attic. The crews worked for approximately 90 minutes before being returning to service.
