Attic Fire in Glendale for Engine and Tower 33: 11309 Daisy Ln

Engine and tower 33 were dispatched as 2nd due engine and 2nd due tower to the 1300 bulk of daisy lane for reports of smoke coming from a home. Rescue Engine 818 arrived to find a one story single family home with smoke showing from the roof line and eves. Engine 33 arrived completed 18’s water supply and stretched the 400′ pre connect to back up rescue engine 818’s line and assist in extinguishing fire found involving the attic area. The tower crew arrived and placed several ground ladder to the Charlie and delta side of the building, performed searches, and assisted in finding the fire and opening up for the interior engine companies. Units operated for approx 30 minutes to control the fire.
