Fire in the Bedroom of a First Due Row: 1902 Dutch Village Dr

An 0852 hour box alarm brought Engine 331 to the 1900 block of Dutch Village Drive this morning for a report of a “house on fire”. Despite finding nothing evident initially from the two story, middle of the group home, Engine Company 33 gained access to the interior to discover a working fire on the second floor. Due to the speed of the engine company operations, only the first engine and truck were required to operate in the fire building; the assignment was quickly scaled back to Engine 331 and Truck 838 to await the investigators.
