Tower 33 to 17’s Area For the House Fire: 2110 Dupont Ave

At 0752 Hours Tower 33 (4 Men) was alerted to respond to a reported house on fire in the 2100 block of Dupont Avenue (Co 17’s first due). First arriving units went on scene with fire showing from Side B. Tower 33, dispatched as the 3rd due special service, was assigned RIT. Crew performed a 360 and ensured all egress points were opened up. After the fire was extinguished command request Tower 33 to go in side and open up division 1, preform a secondary of the house, and help overhaul. After finding hot spots in the attic with the TIC and smoke still coming from the roof Tower 33 requested to open the roof to get a better look at what was still burning. While the interior crew from Tower 33 opened up as much as they could inside, the Driver cut a 4×4 hole in the roof. The crew was able to locate hot spots and get a line on it. Command held 1 Engine and 1 Truck. While returning to quarters Public Safety Communications sounded a box at 1000 Brightseat Road in company 46’s first due, which had Engine 33 and Tower 33 responding first due. Units located a microwave on fire and held Company 33
