Engine, Pumper, and Tower 33 On A 38 House Fire: 913 Sharma St

At 2333 hrs Engine 332 was dispatched as the 3rd due engine for the 38 house fire assignment. Hearing the box alarm dispatched as they were clearing an AFA in the first due Engine 331 and the Tower Ladder quickly requested with BC881 to run the assignment in 38’s area and were added to the run as the 4th due engine and 2nd due truck. Eninge 332 arrived and established a water supply, with E331 arriving shortly after and securing the same. Both engines from 33 stretched to the rear of the house and found smoke showing from the basement. Tower 33 assisted E381 with opening up while E332 hydraulically ventilated the basement. The incident was scaled back after about 30 min and all units from 33 returned to service.
