At 1023 hours units were alerted for a reported fire in the Motel at 75 Hampton Park in Ritchie. Tower Ladder 33 responded with 4 volunteers as the first due special service. Engine 81 (Seat Pleasant) arrived to find a 3-story hotel with smoke showing from a room on the second floor. The Tower arrived shortly after and went to work. Crews found a room off on the second floor, the Tower conducted a primary search and opened up the fire room and exposure rooms. Quick work was made of the fire and command held the assignment to 2 engines and Tower 33 after only 15 minutes of operation. Units stayed onscene to assist investigators. Audio Link
